If you haven’t made these buffalo chicken taquitos at home because you thought they were hard to make, then I am afraid to tell you that you are mistaken. This is the easiest and tastiest recipe you’ll ever find.
I really love Tortillas and Buffalo chicken dip, so this recipe is like heaven for me, two of my favorite dishes combined into 1 flavorful meal. Instead of buying store tortillas, you can even make them from scratch with the help of the recipe at the bottom of the page!
How to make buffalo chicken taquitos:
- 24 6″ flour tortillas
- 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- olive oil or non-stick cooking spray
Start by preheating the oven to 450 F°, coat the baking sheet with olive oil or spray it with the non-stick spray and set aside.
In a large bowl combine the cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix the shredded cheese and shredded rotisserie chicken into the cream cheese mixture.
For every taquito, place 2-3 Tablespoons of the mixture spread into a line from one side to the other on the flour tortilla. Roll the tortillas up tightly and place seam side down on the baking sheet.
After all the taquitos are finished and arranged on the baking sheet, brush their tops with olive oil, or spray them with the non-stick spray. Bake the taquitos in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, after that time has passed flip them over and cook them until they have a golden brown color, which should take approximately 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and enjoy!
