These chocolate chip cookies are super soft and chewy, and also have a great texture. Paired with milk they are one of my favorite desserts or even snacks. This recipe is very easy to make and only takes about 30 minutes.
Guide on making chocolate chip cookies:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Start by preheating the oven to 350º F.
In a medium-sized bowl combine the flour, salt, and baking soda.
In another bowl using a mixer, mix the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar for about 2 minutes or until creamy. After beating them together add the vanilla, eggs, and chocolate chips and mix them all together.
Using plastic wrap, wrap the dough and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
After taking the dough out of the refrigerator, let it cool down to room temperature and divide it into 2-3 TBS.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and cook for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on the cookie sheets for at least 10 minutes before removing them on a wire rack.
