How To Make The Tastiest 3 Cheese Baked Manicotti:

  • 1 jar (26 oz.) pasta sauce
  • 1 package (8 oz.) manicotti shells
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

Start by preheating the oven to 350° F. Then, lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

After that, add lightly salted water to a large pot and bring it to a boil.

Next, add the manicotti shells to the large pot and cook them according to the package directions until al dente. Usually, this takes approximately 8-10 minutes.

Now, mix the 3 kinds of cheese in a small bowl (mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan). Then add the garlic, egg, and basil and mix well.

After making the mixture, stuff the cooked manicotti noodles using it.

Now, spread about 2 cups of pasta sauce over the bottom of the prepared baking dish, making a layer. Next, place the stuffed manicotti over the pasta sauce. Cover with the remaining pasta sauce and sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese.

Finally, bake the manicotti for about 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven until mozzarella is melted and bubbly.
