Guide On Making The Best Easy Oven Baked Cheesy Ranch Potatoes:
- 3 large russet potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper to taste
Start by preheating your oven to 400 °F and line a large baking sheet with non-stick foil or parchment paper.
Next up, wash up your potatoes then chop them into bite-sized pieces.
After washing and cutting your potatoes, toss them in a large bowl with the olive oil and then mix in the ranch seasoning mix.
Now, place the potatoes on your prepared baking sheet. However, make sure to leave as much space as you can between every potato, just make sure they aren’t touching.
Then, season the potatoes with the garlic powder and with salt and pepper according to your taste.
After that, cover the baking sheet using foil and bake for approximately 20 minutes.
Once 20 minutes have passed, remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown. If you made your potatoes pieces bigger they might need to cook for longer.
Finally, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the potatoes and place them back in the oven for an additional 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
