Easy Pecan Pie Recipe

This pecan pie is perfect for the holidays, especially Christmas and thanksgiving. It’s incredibly rich, flavourful, flaky, and crunchy. While also being the perfect combination of sweet and salty. I can guarantee once you give it a try, you are gonna love it.

It’s also quite easy to make and doesn’t require a lot of time to prepare. So there is no reason you shouldn’t be trying this recipe. If you want to decorate the pie, you can use extra dough for the top of the pie.

How to make pecan pie:


  • 1 prepared pie crust *unbaked
  • 1-1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp bourbon whiskey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs


Start by preheating the oven to 350 °F and line a 9″ pie dish with the pie crust. Then place it into the freezer while you work on making the filling.

After that in a medium-sized bowl, beat the eggs together. Then add the vanilla, corn syrup, bourbon, butter, and sugar to the mixture and combine well. Finally, add the pecans to the filling and take the pie crust out of the freezer.

Then pour the filling into the pie crust and bake it in the oven for approximately 1 hour, or until the center is just set and no longer jiggly.

After that, remove the pecan pie from the oven, and let sit at room temperature until it completely cools.

For serving, you can top the pie with whipped cream or ice cream, depending on your preference.
