How To Make The Tastiest Pizza Bombs:

  • 1 lb. pizza dough (at room temperature for 1 hour)
  • 6 oz. low-moisture mozzarella cheese (cut into 12 pieces)
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 4 tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter (melted)
  • 6 tsp marinara sauce (divided, plus more for serving)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (divided)
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Start by placing the rack in the middle slide of the oven.

Then preheat the oven to 375 °F and coat a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.

After that, divide the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces. Next, roll each piece into a ball and using your fingers, flatten and stretch into a 4-inch round. Repeat with the remaining pieces of dough.

Now, place 1/2 tsp of the marinara sauce in the center of each dough round, add a piece of mozzarella and 2 pepperonis. Then bring the edges up and over, pressing them together and being sure to leave no gaps for the filling to leak out.

Next, in a small bowl, add the melted butter, garlic, and salt and stir the mixture. Brush the butter mixture onto each pizza bomb and top with parmesan and Italian seasoning.

Finally, place the pizza bombs in the prepared muffin pan and place them in the oven for approximately 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Once the pizza bombs are golden brown and are cooked to perfection, remove them from the muffin tin. Let them cool for at least 5 minutes before eating them.

If desired, serve with some marinara sauce.
