How To Make The Tastiest 15-Minute Pasta With Spinach

Guide On Making The Tastiest 15-Minute Pasta With Spinach:


  • 9 oz. baby spinach (washed)
  • 8 oz. pasta (penne, rigatoni, spaghetti)
  • 5 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 oz. freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt
  • black pepper


Start by cooking the pasta until al dente by following the package instructions.

Once you’ve cooked the pasta drain it, but reserve 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water and set aside.

Next, in a large skillet placed over medium heat, add the olive oil.

Now, add the garlic to the skillet and cook it until fragrant, for about 1 or 2 minutes.

After that, add part of the baby spinach and season with salt according to your taste. Stir until wilted, adding about a handful of spinach at a time.

Once all of the spinach has finally wilted but is still bright green, add the cream cheese and 1/3 cup of the pasta cooking water. If needed you can add the rest of the pasta water later.

Then add the grated parmesan and nutmeg to the sauce and give the mixture a good stir. The sauce should be ready in a couple of minutes.

Finally, drain the pasta, add it to the skillet and toss the mixture to combine all the ingredients with the pasta.

Serve immediately while still hot with 1/4 drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, black pepper, and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
