Tutorial On Making The Tastiest One Pan Keto Broccoli Cheddar Chicken:
For The Chicken & Broccoli:
- 1 lb. chicken breast (cut into cubes)
- 5 cups of broccoli florets
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
For The Cheese Sauce:
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic
For The Topping:
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Start by preheating the oven to 350 °F.
After that, heat a large, oven-proof skillet over medium heat. Then, add the cubed chicken, 1 tbsp of butter, and spices. Make sure to stir the mixture so that the chicken gets coated with the spices.
Next, cook the chicken for approximately 5-6 minutes or until it has browned on all sides. Once it has finished cooking, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
Now, in the same skillet, add the garlic, butter, cream cheese, almond milk, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
Stir the mixture occasionally, until the cream cheese is completely smooth.
Once the cheese sauce forms, add the previously cooked chicken and broccoli to the skillet. Again, stir the mixture until the chicken and broccoli get coated evenly in the cheese sauce.
Then top the mixture with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Finally, place the skillet in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes. Once the broccoli cheddar chicken has finished cooking, take the skillet out of the oven and set it aside.
Let the broccoli cheddar chicken for at least 10 minutes so that the sauce thickens.
