Pesto pizza is the perfect delicious change from a regular pizza Margherita, a creamy Pesto makes the perfect base, then it’s topped with fresh spinach, tomato, mushrooms, feta, and shredded mozzarella. A perfect way to spice up family pizza night!
This is one of my favorite pizzas to prepare because of how customizable it is. All you have to do is get creative and use your imagination. This quick and easy personal naan pesto pizza is an absolute game-changer!
How to make the tastiest pesto naan pizza with spinach and feta:
- 1 cup fresh spinach (chopped)
- 1/4 cup tomato (chopped)
- 3 mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 pitas
- 4 tbsp mozzarella cheese (grated)
- 3 tbsp pesto
- 2 tbsp feta cheese (crumbled)
Start by preheating the oven to 350 °F.
Then prepare all of your ingredients if you haven’t already. First, chop your spinach and tomato. Then crumble the feta cheese and after that, depending on if you are using pre-shredded or not, grate your mozzarella.
This next step is optional, but if you want your mushrooms to taste better, quickly sauté them in some olive oil before adding them to the pizza, if not just slice them.
After that, spread each pita with a layer of pesto. Next, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese. And finally, top with the spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, and feta cheese.
Now, place the prepared pitas on a baking sheet and place them in the preheated oven. Bake them for approximately 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the pitas are crispy.
Once the pitas have finished baking, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with some fresh basil or some red pepper flakes if desired before serving.
