Ranch Baked Pork Chops Recipe

How to make the juiciest ranch baked pork chops:


  • 4 1-2″ thick pork chops (bone-out)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 2 tbsp diced chives (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked pepper


First, start by removing the pork from the packaging. Then pat the pork dry, add it to a bowl (or a bag) and set it aside.

Next, in a small bowl mix the ranch seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, and pepper.

Now, set aside 1/2 of the marinade mixture and use the other 1/2 to marinate the pork (pour it on the pork). Then, let the pork marinate for at least 30 minutes. The longer it’s marinated, the better flavor it has. Preferably, marinate it overnight in an airtight container.

Then preheat the oven to 400 °F and add the heaviest oven-proof skillet that you have.

Now, if you’ve decided to marinate the pork overnight, let it cool to room temperature before placing it in the oven while the pan is heating up.

Once the skillet reaches 400 °F, add the pork very carefully in order to avoid burning yourself (I recommend using tongs so that you don’t burn yourself).

Bake the pork in the oven for approximately 4 minutes.

Once 4 minutes have passed, flip the pork chops very carefully and use the remaining 1/2 half of the ranch sauce to coat the pork chops.

Cook the pork chops for an additional 4 minutes.

After that, it’s recommended that you use a thermometer to check the pork’s internal temperature. If it reaches a temperature of around 145 °F, it’s most likely ready to come out of the oven.

Finally, once the pork chops are done cooking, let them rest for about 3 minutes before serving.

Garnish with diced chives and enjoy!
