Roasted Honey Garlic Cauliflower

Cauliflower is one of the fewer vegetables that can be cooked in many ways. All you need to do is get a little creative, and maybe you’ll come up with a tasty new recipe.

Following this recipe, you’ll end up with slightly spicy and sweet cauliflower. This honey garlic sauce is incredibly simple and easy to make, as a huge bonus, it only takes 10 minutes. If you want your cauliflower to be extra spicy, feel free to add a couple of green chilis and chili flakes.

Instructions on making roasted honey garlic cauliflower:


  • 1/2 head of cauliflower (cut into bite-sized florets)

For the sauce:

  • 6 tbsp honey
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 4 garlic cloves(minced)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp sriracha sauce (feel free to add more if you’d like it to be extra spicy)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp onion powder


Start by preheating the oven to 400 °F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Then spread the cauliflower evenly on the prepared baking sheet.

Roast for about 15-20 minutes or until cauliflower is caramelized, crispy, and tender. Then let it cool for at least 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, add the honey, garlic, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, and onion powder. Bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring until all the ingredients have blended. Then in a small bowl, combine water and cornstarch until completely dissolved.

After that, combine the water and cornstarch mixture with the honey and garlic sauce. Bring the sauce to a boil, mixing until sauce thickens, which should take about 2 minutes. Then set sauce aside, allowing it to cool for around 3 minutes.

When the cauliflower finally cools, add it to a large bowl. Pour the sauce into the large bowl, coating the cauliflower evenly. Then put the cauliflower on the baking sheet and cook for an additional minute. Serve warm and enjoy!
