This is the only meatloaf recipe you will ever need. It’s incredibly tender, juicy, and covered with a delicious glaze that adds so much flavor to the meatloaf. Served with your favorite vegetables or mashed potatoes, this recipe is irresistible.

Ground beef, which is mixed with breadcrumbs, onion, fresh parsley, and seasonings, makes an incredibly juicy and tender meatloaf. The glaze is made with traditional ingredients – ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.

How to make the best meatloaf:

For the meatloaf:

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill weed (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • salt
  • black pepper

For the glaze (sauce):

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Start by preheating the oven to 350 °F. Then combine all of the meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl. Use hands to mix well, but try not to overwork the meat.

After that, shape the meatloaf mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased baking or bread pan. You can use a sharp knife to cut a pattern on top of the meatloaf.

Bake the meatloaf uncovered in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches approximately 155 °F degrees.

While the meatloaf is in the oven baking, in a small bowl, combine the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Then spread the glaze on top of the meatloaf and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.

After the meatloaf has finished baking, take it out of the oven and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
