Potatoes tossed in butter and a parmesan cheese mixture, then roasted until crisp and cheesy. What’s there not to like! They’re even incredibly quick and easy to make, so this recipe is definitely a must-try.
Guide On Making The Easiest Parmesan Roasted Potatoes:
- 8 russet potatoes
- 2 cups ice
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Start by washing and cutting the potatoes into thin round slices. Then place them into a large bowl.
Once you’ve cut all the potatoes fill the large bowl with water, so that the potatoes are submurged.
Next, add about 2 cups of ice to the bowl and let them sit in it for approximately 30 minutes.
Once 30 minutes have passed, remove the potatoes from the large bowl and pat them dry using a paper towel.
Now preheat the oven to 450 °F and place the potatoes in a large sip top bag with the paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Zip the bag closed and shake it until the potatoes get covered in the seasoning.
Then unzip the bag, add olive oil, zip it close again and shake it until the potatoes get covered by the olive oil.
After coating the potatoes, line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and place them onto it.
Then place the large baking sheet filled with the potatoes into the preheated oven. Bake the potatoes for about 35-40 minutes or until brown and cripsy.
Finally, transfer the potatoes to a large bowl and add both types of the parmesan cheese, parsley and chives. Toss the bowl around to coat the potatoes evenly.
If desired serve with ranch dressing or ketchup.
