How To Make White Wine Garlic Salmon:
- 4 x (5-6 oz.) salmon fillets (skin on)
- 3-4 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- a splash of canola oil.
Start by heating a large frying pan over high heat and add a splash of canola oil.
Then using paper towels, dry the salmon and season them with salt according to your taste.
Next, place the salmon in the pan, with the skin facing it. Now lower the heat to medium-high and cook the salmon for approximately 3-4 minutes.
Once the skin is golden brown and crisp, flip the salmon over to the other side. Then cook the salmon for an additional 1-2 minutes after turning it over.
When the salmon finishes cooking, take it out of the pan and set it aside.
After cooking the salmon, melt the butter in the same pan you used for the salmon and add the garlic. Cook until fragrant, then add the lemon juice and wine.
Now let the mixture simmer for about 4-5 minutes. Add the parsley to the mixture and season according to your taste.
Finally, add the salmon back into the pan and baste with the sauce. This will heat up the salmon while also making it flavorful.
If desired, serve with some lemon wedges, rice or potatoes, and steamed green beans, and enjoy!
